Choose the seller as carefully as the item
Product details, seller evidence and the complete cost belong in the same decision. A fast reply can help; it is not a guarantee of the sale.
Ask a question that helps you decide
If a listing leaves something important unclear, ask for a specific detail before paying: a garment measurement, package contents, material or availability of the exact variant. Keep the answer with the listing reference.
Consider whether the reply actually answers the question and whether it matches the listing. Response time can affect your plan, but the first seller to reply is not automatically the most reliable or the best choice.

How to judge a seller’s evidence
| Signal | Useful interpretation |
|---|---|
| Recent buyer photos and specific reviews | Compare the same product and option where possible. Reviews are context, not proof that your item will match. |
| Clear measurements and specifications | You have something concrete to compare with the order and received item. |
| Answer to a pre-sale question | Check accuracy and relevance as well as speed. Ask through the available buying channel when needed. |
| Stock and dispatch information | Confirm the selected variant. A displayed inventory figure may differ from what the seller can supply. |
| Return terms and item condition | Check restrictions for custom, second-hand, sealed or other special goods before ordering. |
Compare the complete purchase
Look at the product price, quantity, seller-to-warehouse delivery and the options you actually want. Do not infer a fixed delivery charge from the number of sellers; check the cart or agent quote and any free-delivery or combined-order conditions.
International shipping is separate. A bulky inexpensive item can cost more to deliver than you expected, and an additional seller may change the timing of a combined parcel. Use an estimate before buying and update it when warehouse measurements become available.
Payment charges, conversion and optional services can also affect the total. Build the full budget before deciding a listing is cheaper.
Keep options open before asking for changes
The return notice includes restrictions for custom-made and second-hand goods, items from outside mainland China, and goods whose packaging, tags or accessories were removed at the user’s request. The full conditions apply to the specific item and request.
Read those conditions before asking for a modification or discarding packaging. If you later have a problem, use the decision check to organize your evidence and ask what options remain. The presence of an exclusion does not make this guide the authority on your dispute.
Turn an ambiguous listing into a clear buying instruction
A listing for a bag may combine several sizes and include a strap sold separately. Before comparing its headline price with another seller, choose the intended size and read what is included. Note the dimensions, colour code, quantity and accessories rather than relying on the shared cover picture.
A useful pre-sale question is specific: “Does the selected small size include the shoulder strap shown in photo two?” Keep the reply with the listing and repeat any important condition in the purchase remarks. A quick reply is helpful only if it answers the actual question.
If the seller cannot confirm the selected option, pause that purchase or choose a clearly described alternative. Warehouse photos can later help count visible pieces, but they cannot retroactively turn an unclear seller promise into an agreed specification.
